Bringing a dream object into the real world

Hello, I’ve been trying to find out what this could be. I’ve gotten a few answers from people in the past, but nothing that makes real sense or is conclusive.

Have you ever heard of someone being able to actually bring an object out of the dreaming world into the real world? I did it once when I was a kid, my parents will verify this, so I know it wasn’t something I imagined. And I swear to you that this is a true story.

I was around 10 years old or so, I don’t really remember, And in the dream I was in either an old stately home or mansion. I don’t remember what I was doing there, but I seemed to be exploring it. As I was wandering throughout the house/mansion, I had a master skeleton key that worked on all the doors in the place. As skeleton keys go, this one was rather large and seemed to be quite prominent in the dream. Now here’s the weird part…

When I woke up, the key was in my bed! I couldn’t believe it! I pulled an object out of a dream! I took it upstairs and showed both my parents and explained the dream to them, they were quite astonished as well. Before this, the key did NOT exist in our house. So after a little bit, I went back to my room and put the key on my bedside table, and went outside to play with friends. I told my friends and got involved playing. And after awhile of playing I forgot about the key (typical child scatterbrains). When I came back inside my house and went to my room, the key was gone!

Through the years of growing and learning new things and keeping an open mind, I’ve thought about this occurrence now and then. And also having read about different things like mind powers and such, I’ve concluded that the key was real as long as I was thinking about it, but when I went outside to play and forgot about it for awhile, it vanished.

So have you ever heard of anything like this? I can’t possibly be the only person in the world to ever experience this.

I’ve emailed George Noory (the radio show host of an AM show regarding phenomena) twice about this, but he never emailed me back. I don’t know if he ever addressed it on his show, as I did not listen to his show religiously. I’ve also tried other sites, but nothing has really panned out for me on this yet.

Any help or insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Instantly Manifesting

Hello Paul,
That’s is an amazing experience and my explanation for what occurred is that you literally manifested into physical the skeleton key from another dimension. Even though we refer and label dreams as something we do when we fall asleep, our dream reality is another dimension we are in while we are in it, just another dimension of infinite dimensions. Though I have not experienced something manifesting into physical from a dream, I have experienced finding objects that have disappeared and later reappeared.

The only reference that comes to mind is the coast to coast show that I did post on my What’s New blog page of Maureen Cadill’s experience she had when she was focusing on sprouting seeds in her hand and they disappeared. Though presently it is not part of the social conditioning to experience objects appearing and disappearing. However for many of us who are expanding our consciousness and stay aware, we will notice more of these types of experiences. As we recondition ourselves to more seeming impossible becoming possible and if we practice instant manifesting we will experience more of it too.

I also agree with your insight that when you were not focused on the thought of the key it disappeared, but then focusing on it generated energy to manifest it to reappear. Since thoughts are energy and do manifest reality.

My suggestion is to deliberately work on creating the skeleton key to reappear. That would be a great focusing practice to do now with all you know and have learned since the experience when you were young. Because now you would be deliberately manifesting it and the experience of deliberately manifesting the key would be a profound part of your expanding evolving consciousness too.

Another suggestion since you have not received a email back from George Noory is to call in when they have open lines on a particular show, or persistence to keep sending emails.

When your dreaming you go into an astral plane of existence. Different dimension. You can bring things back with you sometimes. But they do go back where they belong.
I don't even remember dreaming, I remember waking up and seeing a monk,(everything was black except for the brilliant silver definitions of the body, face, robes, all the details.) in one of those old robes with the rope as a belt, had prayer beads,hands in his robe sleeves,hood was on, he had chubby cheeks and needed a shave. I could see every fiber on his robes, every unshaved piece of hair on his face. As I looked further down to his feet that I couldnt see. I looked back up and his face changed to an Otter with long sharp canines, and the look it had was a look of, "you dont mess with me"... kind of look, but it wasnt directed to me. it was directed towards a female elf who had long flowing wavey hair in a newer hood whos face morphed into an evil looking witch with a mole and misshaped nose and chin. Her head was all I could see above my bed and as she dissipated into smoke, I looked back to the otter who had completely disappeared. I blinked a few times and then realized I could move and breathe and sit up. While I was checking all this out with my eyes, it was as if my body wasnt there even though I knew I was in it, I could see my nose and see my body in front of me. Its as if the monk/otter put me to ease so I wouldn't freak out. And that he was protecting me from the witch who hitched a ride to this reality from the astral plane.
I realize i do a lot of astral work while Im asleep. (Shaman work) It still happens but now I only see people or sprites, or elfs, dead people, animal spirit guides, vortex/portals, and chakra colors while my eyes are closed vs open, and mentally aware, not asleep at all.
Manifesting objects from dreams

As a child, I was dreaming about Juicy Fruit Gum. I was holding it in my hand. I woke up and it was still there in my hand. I sat up in bed and thought, "Wow, I can dream about something and then have it!" I started to take the package of gum with my other hand to open it, but as I did, it fizzled away and disappeared. I know I was awake and not dreaming.

Hello everyone (including the new commenters that I have not seen until today). I appreciate your insight and suggestions... But I'm on a different path these days, and life has brought me FAR away from that experience and from any 'powers' I may have had when I was a lad. I've had a difficult past, and have only recently beaten depression. I say 'beaten', but I am human and still have not-so-great days. But at least it's not as crippling as it was. I certainly think I'm more enlightened and wiser now, but in a different way. I've embraced my creative nature, and am now a screenwriter. I have nothing out there yet, but you may see my name in the future. In any case, I don't really have any desire for a repeat performance with the key. I was really just looking for an explanation as to how I did it back then.

The only mental work I'm interested in now is anything that would help me to be freer and calmer, so I can be myself without the knee-jerk reactions that became entrenched into me due to the years of depression and self-doubt. To this end, I spend a lot of time in nature (mostly hiking), and doing things that inspire me. And thankfully, I've always had a good family base. I was a victim of years of bullying in school, and that was the thing that killed my spirit. But I was finally able to cast that demon out, and reclaim the person I am meant to be. It's still a struggle, but it's going very well. And since I got this notification of Anna's reply... I fully intend to look more into what this site has to offer, to help me learn new and different ways to be more at peace & kill the reactionary triggers that are hard to get rid of. The worst of which is being automatically very defensive & lashing out, which is a lasting result of what I went through all those years ago.

So thanks to all who have provided their personal stories, answers and suggestions over the years. I'm pretty sure I have my answer now, out of all I've learned on the subject and from assorted insights. I hope to put some of my own work out there soon, to help people and to entertain millions in the best possible way. I have NO desire for fame, but I do want to succeed in my new path in a very big way! For myself, my family, and to change the world for the better as much as I can!!!

Bringing an object out of a dream .

I had a dream about my best friend Jay.
I believe the dream was about his freedom in the future. The dream was about a dove flying right next to him taking off in the air. As the dove flew up a feather floated down towards the ground.
When I awoke there was a feather coming down from the ceiling.
The real stinger

Jan. 2024. Bees. Wasps and Hornets etc. hibernate this time of year it's pretty cold here in the UK. In the dream I dropped a vape I picked it up from a pile of leaves and got stung!
I awoke with severe pain and burning there is a stinger in my finger. It's now been about 48 hours and the swelling has subsided!
Glitter In The Air

On the way home from work last night I stopped at the auto store and bought some radiator fluid. Got home filled my radiator, went inside, made dinner, finished a book and went to bed. This morning as I was about to go in the shower, I looked in the mirror and realized that I there were 3 specs of gold glitter on my neck right above my sternum. I don't have anything with glitter in my home and live alone. I found it odd but didn't give it much thought. Today at lunch, I realized that I had a dream last night where I was at a lavish party where balloons and glitter were flying all around. Is it possible that I brought that glitter with me from my dream?
